Inspired by a circa 1932 sideboard by Jules Leleu. Leleu studied decorative painting, and with his brother began working in the decorating field. After World War I he specialized in furniture making, opening a gallery in Paris. In 1925 he entered the Exposition Industrielle et Arts Decoratifs, winning grand prize. Hand made of East Indian rosewood-veneered and stained wood and mahogany, with nickel-plated brass and Lucite pulls. Dimensions: 86.75" W x 20.5" D x 37.75" H
