The vibe in the neutral living room is decidedly calm and composed—“a clean, ethereal moment,” The space has glamour or visual interest, from the fluted plaster fireplace surround and the sculptural cocktail table in hammered brass to the abstract, neo-Expressionist-style triptych by that spans the wall behind the midcentury-like curved sofa in sumptuous gray velour.
An essential quality is an affinity for livable luxury, and it’s evident in every square inch of apartment. The room has a a passion for antique gilded French chairs and ornate rococo mirrors and also possesses the sophistication to combine them with minimal, modern pieces. “I love the mix of old and new,” the room has a distinct identity. “It all connects. It’s a reflection of different moods, different seasons, different energy.”
Circa 1989 sectional in Hollywood Regency style in the manner of Milo Baughman. Baughman’s uniquely American designs are forward-thinking and distinctive, yet unpretentious. Inspired by the legendary 1970s, Denver has a shape whose design is clearly visible from the side. The chaise lounge is composed of two elements: the main body with a full shape that rests on the ground and the seat cushion coming out of the body itself. A refined metal base supports the padded body giving it further elegance.
