U.S.A. 1890-1910 A tall pine table exemplifying the Northern California offshoot of the Arts and Crafts Movement attributed to Bernard Maybeck. The 1" thick top is chamfered and shaped on all four sides allowing the table to be used "In the Round". Carved and chamfered elements borrowed from a Middle Ages architectural vocabulary, further point to the design hand of this accomplished San Francisco Bay Area architect.
